VERDICT LEFT OPEN.
Husband and Wife Found Dead. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, December 18. Stating that the case was one in which the veil could not be lifted and that any definite finding would be a mere matter of speculation the Coroner, Mr Bartholomew, S.M., returned an open verdict at the adjourned inquest tc-day on Robert Joseph Norman and his wife, Lydia May Norman, whose bodies were found in a gas-filled room at their residence, Fingall Street, South Dunedin, on Tuesday last.
