SPORTS PROTECTION.
New Clubs Admitted to Association. The committee of the Canterbury Athletic Clubs’ Protection Association met on Thursday evening, Mr A. A. Boot presiding. Five cases of defaulters previously posted were reported now financial. The Akaroa Boating Club and the Spreydon Cricket Club forwarded lists of defaulters, two cases being finally posted. The St Albans Swimming Club and the Canterbury Yacht and Motor Boat Club applied for affiliation to the association and were admitted. The secretary reported that an aggregate amount of £l7 10s had been settled and paid to the respective clubs concerned since last meeting.
