Big Ransom Demanded by Gang. THREATEN TO BLIND HER. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, December 17. It is reported from Kansas City that Mrs Nell Connelly, wife of a millionaire garment manufacturer, was kidnapped yesterday. She sent a note to her husband stating that she would be blinded and her chauffeur, who was taken with her, would be murdered unless their abductors were paid a ransom of 75,000 dollars. RELEASED UNHARMED. (Received December 19, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 18. A message from Kansas City states that Mrs Donnelly and her chauffeur were released unharmed. Their relatives stated that no ransom had been paid.
