Mrs B. H. Howell (“ Matata,” Cave) has returned from Christchurch.

The engagement is announced of Hinemoa, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter Williams, Timaru, and Denis, eldest son of Mr John and Mrs Cremin, Timaru. The engagement is announced between James Hardwick, only son of Mr and Mrs A. H. Healey, Hart Street, Timaru, and Daphne Doris, second daughter of Mr and Mrs E. W. Townsend, Hassall Street, Timaru.
