League Football Team Back in Sydney. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, October 27. The Eastern Suburbs Rugby League football team which recently toured Auckland returned by the Maunganui to-day- They described the visit to New Zealand as wonderful, the hospitality being overwhelming, for which the manager expressed the deepest gratitude. The standard of play of the New Zealanders, he added, was much better than on the previous visit. The officials were very hard-working, and were doing great service for the League code. The gates were just fair, but the expenses were about covered.
