WEDDING.

SQUIRE—GRIFFITHS. The marriage took place recently at St Peter’s Church, Wellington, of Ruth Doris, second daughter of Mrs H. A. Griffiths, Wellington, to Roger Edwin, second son of Mrs N. G. Squire, and the late Mr C. Squire, of Kartigi Estate, Shag Point, Otago. The Rev Mr Bullock performed the ceremony. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a pin-tucked ivory satin and silver lace gown, and wore the customary veil and orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of hyacinths with heather and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Mrs Wilson as matron of honour, whose dress was of broderie Anglaise, in shell pink, with shell pink felt hat. Two flower girls in attendance were dressed in long frilled frocks of shell pink broderie Anglaise, with halos of pink forget-me-nots and posies of heather. The mother of the bride was dressed in a satin Burgundy frock with a hat of same tone. The bride’s going-away dress was of green wool lace, and she wore a musquash fur coat. Mr and Mrs Roger Squire will make their future home in Christchurch.
