COLLECTORS NEEDED.
Sydenham Pound Scheme Makes Appeal. An appeal has been made by the committee of the Sydenham branch of the Pound Scheme for more helpers and collectors. For nine or ten weeks there has been a good response to demands for assistance, but lately a slackening off has been noticed, and it is felt that new collectors would stimulate the work. Sydenham residents are asked to attend the Sydenham School at 7 p.m. to-morrow, and give their assistance. The district has two distributing depots, drawing their supplies from the central depot. The goods are rationed orit to, roughly, 400 applicants for relief weekly.
