GOOD PROGRAMME.
Gordon Hall Activities for School Holidays. A programme of educational trips has been drawn up in connection with the Y.M.C.A. Boys’ Gordon Hall school holiday activities. It has been arranged with a view to letting the boys see as many of Christchurch’s secondary industries as possible. The fortnight’s programme will be commenced on the morning of Monday, August 24, with a primary clubs’ football tournament in Hagley Park. In the afternoon, and on the subsequent days, visits will be made to various places of interest. On Tuesday afternoon the party will visit the office of the “ Star ” and “ Times.” They will visit the YVigram Aerodrome the nex" morning, and an all-dav trip to Chartens Bay will be made on Friday, August 28. Saturday will be a frfee day. The second week will commence with another football tourney, between the secondary clubs. This week will also be occupied with visits to various in- i dustrial concerns, radio studios, and an all-day picnic on Fridav, September 4 The programme will be brought to a close with a church parade to the Durham Street Methodist Church on the morning of *- September 6. This will be the first annual parade of \ .M.C.A. .members.
