THEFT ALLEGED.
Four Accused Men Said to be Involved. Ernest Blades, aged forty-two years, a labourer, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court this morning with breaking and entering the warehouse of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club on August 16 and committing theft. He was remanded to appear on August 25. Chief-Detective Carroll said that Blades was the fourth man involved in the charge. Three others had been remanded previously until the same date.
