r THE TRAMPING CLUB IDEA, which is being furthered by the Sunlight League, is making great strides in South Canterbury, and Miss Cora Wilding has received word that an enthusiastic club has been formed at Geraldine, and several young people walked to Pleasant Valley last Thursday afternoon and were the guests of Miss Ladbrooke, secretary of the Geraldine branch of the Sunlight League, at afternoon tea. It is hoped to have a strong club and regular 44 hikes ’* very soon, and Mrs J. M. H. Tripp, a member of the Council of the League, is helping in the establishment of the club. Another club has now l»een formed in the same district—the Gapes Valley and Kakahu Tramping Club.
