Too Many Tournaments.

To th* Editor. Dear Sir, —I enjoy the sportiveness of the student teacher, and his hearty determination to " froth things along." I missed the girls’ Rugby interval, but suggest that it should be put on again as a curtainraiser or hair-raiser for the next rep. match at Lancaster Park. What does it matter whether Canterbury or Otago win at basketball or pushpenny or tiddly-winks?—l am. etc., STOP THE ROT.
