“DAILY HERALD” STORY WITHOUT FOUNDATION. (Continued from page 1.) (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 19, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Tune 18. The Right Hon. H. P. MacMillan, K.C., has officially issued a statement showing that the “ Daily Herald’s ” forecast of the Finance and Industry Committee’s report was entirely unauthorised, and was a complete travesty of the contents of the committee’s report. The committee to present its report next week. The “ Daily Herald ” forecast stated that the report attacked the Bank of England.
