TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs B. H. Howell, Matata Cave, has returned home after a visit to Timaru.
Mrs T. Bridgeman, Dunedin, passed through Timaru on her way to Ashburton.
Miss Dorothy Napier, Te Kiteroa, Waimate, has returned from a visit to Dunedin.
Mrs Wilfred Ilowell, • Cave, returned home yesterday, after a short visit to Mrs R. F. Hill, Mere Mere Street. Mrs J. Peter, Kaikoura, who was the guest of Mrs R. F. Hill, Mere Mere Street, has left for Christchurch.
Mrs G. Rhodes, Beverley, who has been staying at the Grand Hotel, returned to Christchurch yesterday. Miss Helen Bruce, Rollesby, Burke’s Pass, is no\v with Mrs J. C. Guinness, Farmleigh, Ealing.
Miss Patricia Stronach, Dunedin, who was the guest of Mrs C. A. Paterson, Sefton Street, left for North Canterbury yesterday to be the guest of her sister, Mrs R. Chaffey, Waiau, for a few davs.
Mrs A. A. Finch, Dunedin, has left for Australia to visit her daughters, Mrs R. R. Morris, “ Sunridge,” St Andrews, has returned home after a visit to her daughter, Mrs Kenneth Hall, Ilororata.
