Following on recent correspondence concerning farthings and their denominations, Mr 11. - Savill, 368, Wilson’s Road, has produced a half-farthing and a fourpenny piece, which have been in his possession for some time. The halffarthing is dated 1827. and the fourpenny piece 1844. Mr Savill states that several years ago he possessed a quarter-farthing dated 1800, and this he sold to a collector in England for a sovereign.
