BIG SHEEP YARDINGS AT TINWALD DOUBLE SALE.

(Special to the “Star.”) / ASHBUBTON, March 31. Ther© was an exceptionally heavy yarding of fat and store sheep at the double sale at the Tinwald yards to-day. The butchers’ pens comprised fair to average quality, and although prices in some cases showed an easier tendency prime conditioned sorts sold at prices about equal to those of the Ashburton sale last week. Top price for ewes, 6s Id, was secured by M. O’Keefe, Tinwald. The best wethers brought 12s lOd, which went to J. B. Stevenson, Tinwald, while iv the lamb market at 14s lOd.
