A.H. writes:— He’d trodden the sands of old Egypt, With awe at the Sphinx he had gazed. He’d travelled the Great Wall of China, And looked at St Peter’s amazed. But greatest of all the world’s wonders He’d found in New Zealand at last; The Pink and White Terraces awed him, Their vividness held him aghast. His friends back in London would doubt him, A photo as proof they would see, So taking his camera he snapped them— The Regent and the A.M.P.
