ARM AND LEG BROKEN BY A FALLING POLE.
(Special to the “ Star.”) OTIRA, March 31. John Cook, a railway employee, while unloading poles at Arthur’s Pass today, sustained serious injuries through a pole falling on him and breaking an arm and a leg. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital.
