AUCKLAND BUSINESS. (Special -to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND. March 3t. On the Stock Exchange there was rather a better tone in bidding: at thia morning’s call. Buyers for Commercial Banka advanced their limits by 6d, to 14s 6d, and for New Zealands there were buyers at £2 9s 6d. New Zealand Insurances were a shade easier, and after a sale at £2 Is 9d there were still sellers at £2 2s. Coals were in better demand. Pukemiros were quoted ex div., with buyers at £1 14s, and Westports were wanted at £1 4s 6d. After a recent weakness New Zealand Breweries steadied, and both buyers and sellers raised their limits by 6d, to £1 15s 6d and £l 16s 6d respectively.
