The bout was not attractiA’e for the first five founds, but then Richards adopted rushing tactics. Thomas went down three times in the eighth round. Both men gaA*e a poor display. LA BARBA BEATS FRANCIS. NEW YORK, March 27. Fidel la Barba (Sst 131 b) took the decision in a ten rounds’ bout from Kid Francis (Sst 10|lb>.
