CANTERBURY CLUB WINS ARTHUR ROSE TROPHY. The annual match for the Arthur Rose silA’er trophy, betAveen teams representing the Ellesmere BOAvling Association and the Canterbury Bowling Club, Avas played on the Canterbury green on Saturday afternoon. Seven rinks a-side competed and Canterbury won by 161 to 105. At thj conclusion of the games, Mrs Rose handed over the trophy to Mr W. Ives, president of the Canterbury Club.
