CASH CLUB’S MEETING. , Canterbury Cash Athletic Club held their weekly meeting last evening. Fine racing and close finishes were witnessed. Results:— 5.20 yards—First heat; AI. A. Alacdonald 5, R. Ai’Kinnon 2. Second heat: .1. R. Atkinson 5. R. S. Thompson 2. Third heat: J. H. Williams 1. D. M’Lemian 2. Final: Thompson 1. Atkinson 3, Af’Kinnon 3. Thompson ran a well-judged race to win by inches. Atkinson and Al’Kinnon were inches away, second and third respectively. 880 yards—S. PolasoheJc 1, J. Moran 2, H. Goodman 3. Polaschek ran a good race to beat Aforan by five yards. Goodman was the same distance back third.
