MODEL YACHTS RACE AT VICTORIA LAKE.
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the sixteenth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. The wind was strong from the nortli-north-east. Eleven boats competed under the supervision of Mr J. L. Ruxton. Following were the results:— First Heat. R. Munro’s Dolphin (scr) ........ 1 H. J. Bowlker’s Ruth (2min 50sec) .. 2 R. Bunker’s Peter (7min 50sec) .... 3 F. Semmen’s Tui (Smin 40see) 4 A. Semmen’s En Avant (Smin 40sec) 5 Time—23!min. Second Heat. H. J. Bowlker’s Ruth 1 R. Bunker’s Peter £ F. Semmen’s Tui 3 R. M’lntosh’s Ngaio (Smin) 4 R. Munro’s Dolphin 5 Time—26lmin. The race resulted:—Ruth (13 points) I, Dolphin (9 points) 2, Peter (S points) 3, Tui (5 points) 4.
