REDUCTIONS IN SALARY ACCEPTED IN BRITAIN

The Commonwealth and Dominion line is cutting its staff salaries and directors’ fees by 10 per cent on May 1. The Railway Clerks’ Association, by a majority, accepted, a wage award of 6s 3d less, giving a-lead to other railway workers.
