NEW ZEALANDER DEAD IN GAS FILLED ROOM.

John L. Maxwell Lefroy, aged twenty, described as an engineering undergraduate, from Hawke’s Bay, recently arrived here to take up a course at the University. He was found dead to-day in a gas-filled room in Glebe. The room was sealed and the gas had apparently been on for twenty-four hours.
