This photograph shows Maud Inez Shaw and her assistant at work at Hay’s Ltd., Gloucester Street* Mrs. Shaw is the wellknown expert in the cutting out of paper patterns to any style, and to one’s individual measurements, at a very moderate cost. Should customer so desire, Mrs. Shaw will cut out material from patterns bought, and also tack and fit garments all ready for sewing up, also at a moderate price. By using this unique service which Hay’s Ltd., provide, ladies can be assured of perfect fitting garment's at a substantial saving in price. The children in the photo are two of Hay’s Leaguers in the Hay’s League fancy dress costume designed by Mrs. Shaw, who is prepared to undertake this class of work.
