CORONER DOES NOT COMMENT ON EVIDENCE
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 16. The inquest into the death of James Nesbit Mouat was concluded to-day, when the evidence of Phillip Lyulph Darke, driver of the car which struck Mouat, was heard. He attributed the accident to his view being blocked by a lorry, to his going out to the side of the road to avoid the tail swing of the lorry, and to a tyre coming off when he turned sharply to avoid deceased. The Coroner, Mr I. Salek, returned a verdict that Mouat died as a result of injuries received through being struck by a motor-car driven by Darke. In doing so he said he did not propose to make any comment on the evidence.
