TINWALD EWE FAIR.

(Special to the " Star.”) ASHBURTON, March 16. There was a large entry at the annual ewe fair at the Tinwald yards to-day. Up to midday the best price realised was 16s 9d for a line of 354 two-tooth Corriedale ewes sold on account of Mr G. H. Griggr. The principal sales were: 500 four and six-tooth half-bred at 15s 9d; 100 twotooth Corriedale at 16s 2d; 85 at 14s lOd; 143 four and six-tooth half-bred at 13s; 83 four-tobh hree-quarer-bred a 12s 9d; 72 four-tooth three-quarter-bred at 12s 9d; 72 four-tooth three-quarter-bred at 12s 9d; 70 two-tooth fine three-quarter-bred at 14s; 83 at 13s lOd; 691 four-year-old Corriedale at 8 s.
