A meeting of the executive of the Linwood anrl Woolston Progress League was held in the Linwood Avenue School. Mr Disney occupying the chair. It was decided to write to the City Council asking that Telford Street should be tar-sealed, as the enormous traffic during the broadsiding season creates a dust nuisance, and also asking that the wooden rails on the bridge in that street be replaced by cement posts. A request will be forwarded to the Drainage Board asking to have the drain flowing into the outfall drain cleaned. The association expressed appreciation of the City Council’s action in regard to the work done on Linwood Avenue, and hoped that! it would be continued.
