MARSHLAND BRANCH OF PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETS.
The monthly meeting of the Marshland sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held in the hall on Thursday afternoon. There were present:—Mesdames Roberts (in the chair), Sturgiss (hon secretary). L. Kingston, Boyd, Blank, Gabites. Chisnall, Treleaven, IT. Watson, Lohrey and Palmer. The nurse’s report for the month of February was as follows:—Visits to rooms: Adults 10, babies 9, pre-school children 3; visits to homes 11, new cases 2. Arrangements were made to hold a refreshment booth at the forthcoming sports meeting and to sell ice cream, and sweets in aid of the society’s funds
