NOR-WESTERS CAUSE RISE IN LAKE LEVEL.
The series of nor’-westers during the past few days have caused a further substantial rise in the level cf Lake Coleridge, which to-day had reached 1662.8 ft. This level, however, is over 9ft below the overflow level, but if the present weather conditions continue the position should steadily improve this month.
