The following cablegram has been received by the Governor-General in reply to a message of condolence sent on the death of the Princess Royal, the King’s eldest sister: “I would ask you to convey to the members of the Government and the people of New Zaland my grateful thanks for their kind message of sympathy in my sad bereavement.
