YOUTHS ARE INJURED WHEN CAR HITS POST.
When their Whippet car ran into a post on the torncr of Page's Road and Onslow Street at 7.15 this morning, th’-ee b'>'- c ' ~ TI of Dunedin, were injured, and were taken to the Christchurch Hospital. D'Arcy Steele, aged seventeen, received head injuries and concussion His condition is reported to be satisfactory. The driver of the car, Lance Tor ranee, also aged seventeen, sustained injuries to his left arm. He was treat ed as an outpatient and discharged. Melville Collie, aged eleven, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, received injuries to his back. He was first treated as an outpatient, but later he. was admitted to the hospital. The boys were returning from a camp. The car struck the post front on, and was extensively damaged, being swung completely round by the irr* nac t.
