The outlook for returned soldiers who are at present out of employment is not very promising, according to Mr E. F. Willcox, secretary to the Returned Soldiers’ Association, who states that there is no work offering now and there is no prospect of any in the near future. The position of the married men was serious, said Mr Willcox, for, although lift}- men would probably be occupied for some time on road work at Okains Bay, they were all single.
