THEATRE ROYAL SHOWS MAGNIFICENT PICTURE.
“Africa Speaks”, which is being shown at the Theatre Royal, must rank as one of the greatest triumphs to date of the sound film. It is the record in picture of the journey of the ColoradoAfrican expedition across Africa from the mouth of the Niger to the shores of the Indian Ocean. Animals of all descriptions, gazelles, zebras, gnus, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, hippopotami and lions*—are shown in their natural surroundings, not in ones and twos, but in hundreds.
