FEDERATION OF TRADES COUNCILS MAY REVIVE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 5. The relationship between the Wei fington Trades and Labour Council and the New Zealand Alliance of Labour (to which the Wellington council is affiliated) is to be discussed at a meeting of the Trades Council this week. For some time there has been talk of a revival of the Federation of Trades Councils, a body to which the councils in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch. Dunedin and other centres were previously affiliated; and it is probable that this subject will also be considered at the meeting.
