FLIGHT TO START ONCE AGAIN TO-DAY.
NORFOLK (Virginia), January 3 A damaged sextant and a shift in tile wind, which were encountered within a few miles of Bermuda, caused the failure of the first attempted “ Pay. load” aeroplane flight from New \ork to Paris. The “ Trademark ” was forced to turn back and landed on Saturdaynight at Hampton Roads naval station. more than fifteen hours after the talce-off from New York. It had flown approximately 1500 miles when it landed at 9.28 pirn. The flight will be resumed on Monday. following the same route.
