ENGLISH CRITICS GREATLY ALARMED.
LONDON, January 3. England’s position in the South African tests is causing the critics concern. Several declare that the complete failure of the bowling is disturbing, and yet another proof that there is not the slightest hope of recovering the ashes from Australia unless the selectors nerve themselves to disregard reputations and find a new attack.
