SUICIDE VERDICT IS RETURNED AT INQUEST.
A verdict of suicide was returned by the Coroner (Mr E. D. Mosley) at an inquest held this morning into the death of Edmund Parsons, 79, Fitzgerald Avenue, who was found yesterday at his home with his throat cut. Edmund Parsons, son of deceased, gave evidence regarding the finding of the body. His father, he said, had not been in good health since Christmas. He had been in bed when witness went down the backyard to feed some fowls. When he returned his father was lying on the floor dead. Sergeant Hodgins represented the police.
