In The Days Of Gold.
James B. Hendryx.
JLJR lIENDRYX is the celebrated author **■ of those splendid adventure stories, “ Connie Morgan,” etc. This new story i« a thrilling one of life on the great Yukon. At the very commencement we are thrilled with the exploit of Brad Trevis, one of those giants of the north, who crossed an ice-bound river in order to aid men afflicted with snow-blindness. Brad is accused of committing a brutal crime, but in order to save another person he shoulders the blame and ultimately hides out in the hill country. How it all ended makes a good story of action and excitement, the background being that of the frozen north, a land which Hendryx knows intimately. An adventure story full of rapid action which grips the reader from the first few lines.
