Denton’s Derby.

Dorothea Conyers. J)OROTHEA CONYERS is famous for her sporting stories. This new one deals with racing in England. Richard Denton, owner of some lovely horses, becomes acquainted with Miriam, the supposed daughter of a crafty old Jew. Feeling sorry for the girl, Richard decides to give her employment among his beautiful horses. Miriam actually acts as a mascot to Richard and he was fortunate enough to win some big races. His one ambition, however, is to win the Derby, but before this classic race takes place both Richard and the girl are subjected to much worry at the hands of crooks. How Miriam foils these rogues, and assists Richard to achieve his object is told in this dramatic story. It is a sporting story which will enhance the wide popularity of Dorothea Conyers and which will appeal to all lovers of racing stories.
