TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Miss Peggy Williams (“ Silverton,” Woodbury) is staying with Mrs F. J. Rolleston (LeCren’s Terrace). Miss Ilewetson (England) is the guest of Mrs Maurice Harper (Waitawa). Miss Ethel Barlclie and Miss Hames (Sumner) are staying with Mrs A. P. Barklie (Geraldine). Miss Edith Wilkin (Dunedin), formerly of Timaru, will leave shortly on a trip to England. Miss Lou Cartwright (Orbell Street) and Miss Davis (England) will leave to-morrow for a trip to Milford Sound. Mrs 11. Sinclair Thompson (Park Lahe), who is the guest of Mrs Sinclair Thompson (“ The Crossing,” Woodbury), will return home to-day. Dr and Mrs T. Mill (Christchurch) have left for the north, after spending a few days with Dr and Mrs F. F. A. Ulrich (Elizabeth Street). Miss Enid Edgar Jones (“ Otiritiri ”) will motor to Christchurch next week for the Barker-Giles wedding, where she will be one of the bridesmaids. Miss Cecil Elworthv (“ Craigmore ”) will return home to-day, after spending some days with Mrs Sinclair Thompson (“ The Crossing,” Woodbury) . Miss Olive Lyon (England), who has been staying at Lake Ilawea with Mr and Mrs Sydney Neil, will motor to Timaru to-day, before leaving for Christchurch for the Barker-Giles wedding, where she will be one of the bridesmaids.
