GIRLS’ BIBLE CLASS ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD
In connection with the Anglican Girls’ Bible Class camp in Christchurch, the annual conference was held at the Cathedral Grammar School yesterday morning. Mrs H. E. K. Fry, of Wellington, the Dominion president, occupied the chair, and there was an attendance of 220 members. The president’s address and the reports of the secretary and treasurer were received and recommendations were made to the leaders’ conference, to be held next week. The Dominion executive, which has been stationed at Wellington, was moved to Auckland. Miss W. Averill was elected president, Miss Henderson secretary and Miss Dorreen Bell treasurer. The lone members’ secretary. Miss Eldridge, of Redcliffs, was re-elected. To-day a picnic will be held at Corsair Bay.
