Mr and Mrs John Wood, Dunedin, are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Mrs Brailey, Oamaru, is a guest at the Clarendon Hotel. Mrs-J. A. Miss Peggy Lake, Fendalton, has returned from a visit to Ilanmer Springs. Miss Roie de Pass and Miss Pat Stewart are the guests of Mrs T. Masefield, Akaroa, for the holidays. Miss Joan Maling, Durham Street North, is staying with Miss Rosa Tripp, at Orari Gorge. Major and Mrs George Hutton, Bangor, are spending a few days at Ilurlingham. Bealey Avenue. Mr and Mrs Arthur Warren, Wairarapa, are the guests of Mrs Minty, Merivale. The Rev D. Gardner Miller, Mrs Miller, and their daughter will leave on Monday to spend a month's holiday at Waikuku beach. Misses Marjorie and Marion Macfarlane, Auckland, who have been the guests of Mrs 11. W. Macfarlane, Fendalton, left for the north last night. Mr and Mrs J. IT. Upham and the Misses Upham, Gloucester Street, are spending a holiday at the Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs S. RobilTiard, sen., and her daughter, Mrs Mervyn Smith, of Ashburton, are in Christchurch for the Robilliard—Leckner wedding. Mr and Mrs Peter Hall, Fendalton, who have been spending a few days in Timaru, have left for Dunedin to be the guests of Miss Lctty Williams, Dunedin. Mr and Mrs L. A. Ablett and their two little girls, Hawera, who are visiting Christchurch, will leave for the south to-morrow to spend a holiday with Mrs Ablett’s mother, Mrs Miller, Oamaru. Nurse D. M. Dunford, of Matangi, North Island, has joined the staff of St Helens Hospital. Miss Dunford, who been a member of the nursing staff of the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, for the past four and a half years, intends to complete her training in Christchurch.
