LATE MRS C. G. DALGETY.
Following upon failing health for over a year, the death occurred yesterday at her home, Holbury, Hackthorne Road, Cashmere, of Violet Alexander Alarjorie, wife of Air C. !}. Dalgetv. Airs Dalgety was a daughter of Air V illiam Burnett, J.P., of Dunedin. Her sympathetic and generous nature caused her to be loved by all with whom she came in contact. At one time she took an active interest in the Christchurch FYee Kindergarten and also in local patriotic work. She was a keen and active member of the Anglican Chuich. A[rs Dalgetv is survived by her husband) three sons, and . one daughter— Mrs Gorcon 'North Canterbury), and Alessrs Charles Dalgety '.North Island), Burnett Dalgety (North Canterbury), and Stafford Dalgety (England). Airs Dalgety also leaves four sisters:—Lady Statham, wife of the Hon Sir Charles Statham, Speaker of the House of Representatives; Airs C. Alelvill (Wellington), Airs Al’Gregor, and Aliss Olive Burnett (Otago).
