WANGANUI NOTES. (Special to the “Star.”) WANGANUI, December 8. W. H. Dwyer left this morning for Woodville -with Paratoo, but did not take Knollmere, as the latter met with a slight mishap yesterday. Paratoo is in great order and is expected to run a big race. High Falutin’ joined the train at Fordell. He has been doing splendid work recently. GRANTED A CLEARANCE. (Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, December 8. A former apprentice, A. G. Murray, who recently returned from Sydney, has been granted a clearance by the New Zealand Racing Conference, and the question of a jockey’s license will be considered in time for him to ride at Woodville to-morrow. Merry Damon will be one of his mounts.
