EXTRA EXPRESSES FOR HOLIDAY TRAVELLERS.
Advice has been received from the Railway Department regarding alterations in the express train services during the holiday period.
There will be two South expresses daily from December 15 until February 7, when the usual time-table will be reverted to. From December 18 until January 10, there will be a daily express service from Christchurch to the West Coast. Alterations will also be made in the time-tables of branch lines, in order to connect with the additional expresses.
