A farewell function took place in the Valuation Department's office to-day to mark the retirement of Mr D. li. Pullar, senior District Valuer for Christchurch city and suburbs- He was presented with a hunting watch from the valuers and staff, and a case of pipes from his old colleagues in the Wellington office.
