FLOWER SHOW HELD AT ST DAVID'S, SYDENHAM.
A flower show was held at St David’s Presbyterian Church this afternoon in aid of the building fund of the Bible Class. The Rev .1. Millar. F.R.G.S., who opened the flower show, in the absence of the Rev J. D. Webster, congratulated the exhibitors on their splendid effors. Among the exhibits were displays of flowers, home cooking- and produce, sweets, vegetables and needlework. The needlework displayed was particularly fine. Judges for the various exhibits were: Mr R. Nairn (flowers and vegetables), Mr A. T. Smith (pets). Miss Bowen (needlework). Mr G. Brown (produce), and Miss Shaw (cookery). The prize list was as follows: Cut flowers.
