PIGEON FLYING.
Ninety-two entries were received from eight clubs—Dunedin, Oamaru, Cornwall (Auckland), Wellington, Manawatu, Tolaga Bay, Wanganui and Hikurangi, for the New Zealand Pigeon Federation’s yearling championship. The following are the velocities: Yards
The Cornwall Club did not return their results. The Tolaga Bay Club mistook the date and did not fly. The Oamaru Club did not fly the requix*ed distance direct air line. The Wellington Club was disqualified on account of its birds being liberated five minutes late.
