PATIENTS ASK FOR SALAMAN’S RELEASE.

RESOLUTION SENT TO ACTING-PRIME MINISTER. Per Press Association. WOODVILLE, November 2S. A meeting of those interested in the case of Abraham Salaman, called for the Borough Council Chambers last evening, was so largely attended that it was found necessary to take the Alexander Ilall to accommodate those who claimed to have been cured or benefited by Salaman’s treatment. The chair was occupied by Mr J. G. Brechin, of Pahiatua. Several wellknown settlers spoke of the splendid results attending the treatment they had received at the hands of Salaman. and the following resolution, which was carried unanimously, is to be forwarded to the acting-Prime Minister (the Hon E. A. Ransom) : “That this meeting of those cured from illness, and also those obtaining benefits from the treatment by Mr Salaman, pray'the acting-Prime Minister to at once use his great influence with Cabinet to secure the immediate release of Mr Salaman from gaol: that this request is made in the interests of those patients who are under the care of Mr Salaman and are receiving the utmost benefit from his treatment.”
